Job Title: English Language Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced English Language Specialist to join our team at Rolleston College. This is a part-time (0.6) permanent position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 7-15.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • To assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of English language principles and practices
  • The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Experience working with students in Years 7-15
