Job Title: Fixed Income Trader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Income Trader to join our dynamic Trading team. As a Fixed Income Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades in Government and Corporate bonds, as well as expanding your expertise to other asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute trades in Fixed Income cash products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and LGIM's policies and procedures.

* Provide market commentary and advice to investment teams, as well as daily feedback on traded positions.

* Assist other traders as needed and build strong relationships with counterparties.

* Work with the Trading Research team to analyze and interpret large trading data sets, improving client outcomes.

* Assist with technology initiatives, including system upgrades.

* Achieve competency in all instruments traded by the desk over time.

Requirements:

* Strong academic background, degree educated.

* Attention to detail and a strong risk management mindset.

* Interest and understanding of financial markets.

* Some markets-facing experience preferred.

* Strong analytical skills.

* Quantitative and programming skills would be additive.
