Fixed Income Trader - London

Join a collaborative Global Hedge Fund in beautiful London and work within a dynamic trading function. As a Fixed Income Trader, you will be responsible for the Research, Development, and Execution of Systematic & Discretionary Fixed Income Strategies.

This role involves working directly with the Head of EU Trading to assist in the full investment process, with the primary goal of maximising PNL across a host of different Portfolio Management teams. You will be collaborating and formulating comprehensive execution strategies, using your market insights to minimise slippage and optimise overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Systematic & Discretionary Fixed Income Strategies
  • Collaborate with the Head of EU Trading to assist in the full investment process
  • Formulate comprehensive execution strategies to minimise slippage and optimise performance
  • Work with large datasets to inform trading decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the Fixed Income space
Requirements:
  • 2 years experience in a trading position within a buyside / sellside role
  • Experience working with and analysing large datasets
  • Knowledge of the Fixed Income space is required
  • Proficiency in Python / SQL is a plus
