Job Overview

Our client, a leading liquidity provider, is seeking an Entry-level Fixed Income Trader to join their team. As a Fixed Income Trader, you will be responsible for executing and managing fixed income trades across various global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing and managing fixed income trades (bonds, treasuries, etc.) across various global markets.
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and news that affect fixed income instruments.
  • Support senior traders with daily tasks including trade execution, portfolio management, and risk analysis.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize quantitative models for trading strategies and risk management.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance and automate trading tools and platforms.
  • Perform post-trade analysis to evaluate trade performance and strategy effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management guidelines.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and Java for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments, especially fixed income products (bonds, treasuries, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of trading platforms and financial markets.
