Audit Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Financial Reporting Advisory Team in the Audit Quality Directorate (AQD). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our financial reporting services and supporting our clients in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and guidance to our audit teams on complex financial reporting matters, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, company legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver high-quality financial reporting training, updates, and seminars to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing your expertise and thought leadership in the field.
- Collaborate with our technical teams to develop and implement financial reporting tools and guidance, enhancing our firm's capabilities and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of our firm's financial reporting strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
- ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
- Manager or Senior Manager experience in a technical team or relevant experience in technical financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRSs, UK GAAP, and the Companies Act.
- Experience of performing technical reviews of annual reports of listed companies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
