We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Tredegar. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to gain rewarding experience in a challenging yet supportive environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to provide individualized support to pupils with SEN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist pupils with their learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff
  • Support the development of a positive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
  • A proactive work ethic
  • A good understanding of special educational needs
  • The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • A patient and understanding attitude
  • The ability to work as part of a team
