We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Custody Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in a correctional setting, helping them to overcome obstacles and reintegrate into their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of participants, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with volunteer peer mentors and/or mentors to ensure effective case management and coordination of risk.
- Contribute to a learning environment that enables colleagues to develop their skills and experience, and engage in activities to share best practice.
- Ensure effective case management and coordination of risk, with a particular focus on safeguarding of adults and children.
- IAG Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing a caseload of participants, with a strong understanding of inputting and retrieving electronic data and maintaining computer-based information systems.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels and in a variety of settings.
- Ability to motivate and sustain engagement of individuals.
