Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeship Trainer to join our client's team. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices in residential childcare settings, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive training sessions to apprentices in residential childcare, focusing on their development as future leaders in the field.
  • Develop and implement tailored training programs that meet the unique needs of individual learners, taking into account their strengths, weaknesses, and career aspirations.
  • Assess apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth as skilled professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that all training materials are current and aligned with industry standards and regulations in residential childcare.
  • Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to support apprentices' on-the-job learning, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentices' progress and achievements, providing valuable insights for future training and development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in residential childcare management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality training and support.
  • Recognised teaching or training qualification, demonstrating your expertise in adult education and training.
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards in residential childcare, with a deep understanding of the sector's needs and challenges.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employers, stakeholders, and apprentices.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance your role as an Apprenticeship Trainer.
