Nineteen Recruitment is delighted to working with a local client, recruiting on their behalf for a Residential Child Care Officer role that is based in the North Tyneside area.

This is a temporary role that is long-term and commands a standard hourly rate of £14.44 per hour.

**Job description**

As a Residential Child Care Officer, you will be providing advice, assistance, and support to young people. You will need to attend to their practical, physical, and emotional needs and ensure they are safeguarded within the service and under your supervision.

Whilst developing professional relationships with the young persons, you will be acting as an appropriate role model and working closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and circumstances and provide tailored individual support to help achieve their optimum potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one
- Experience providing support to young persons
