An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to work in a low secure unit for males with learning disabilities, including those with co-morbid personality disorders, mental illnesses and autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs). You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing clinical, professional and managerial leadership. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day psychological support
  • Ensuring high standards of evidence-based psychology care are consistently delivered
  • Acting as a role model and patient advocate
  • Responsible for Information Governance standards
  • Promoting good relationships with patients, relatives, public and other care organisations

The ideal candidate will have post-qualification experience working with complex patients in a secure or locked setting. A can-do attitude and ability to show strong communication skills written and verbally are essential.

This permanent part-time role offers an excellent salary of £45,000 - £50,000 FTE depending on the individual's qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include up to 25 days annual leave, free parking and pension scheme contributions.
