Band 4 - £22,549 - £24,882 per annum

Long Covid Rehab Hub

**Fixed term - 12 months**: 37.5 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the newly developed Long Covid Rehab Hub based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Short term funding has been provided by the CCG to develop a multidisciplinary rehab hub for patients with persisting symptoms post Covid.

To provide high quality efficient and responsive rehabilitation to post Covid patients being treated within the Covid Rehab Hub.

To treat complex post Covid outpatients identifying and reporting needs to Therapists promptly.

The post holder will provide skilled support to the Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists working within the Covid Rehab Hub. They will be expected to work autonomously.

The post holder will work within clearly defined boundaries of their Assistant Practitioner Competencies and carry out specific delegated clinical tasks and responsibilities as defined by the registered therapists.

Flexibility to travel to other sites is essential.

We are seeking applicants who have had experience working in a therapy environment, and understand the physical, cognitive and emotional needs of patients experiencing the effects of long covid.

Basic IT skills are required, as the service operates with electronic patient records.
