Career Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Community Dietitian to join our team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with individuals who have had a stroke, providing specialist care and support. This 12-month post offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in this area.

We are a friendly and supportive team of 25, comprising Dietitians, Assistant Dietitian Practitioners, a Nutrition Support Nurse, and Administrative staff. Our hospital is a district general hospital with specialist acute and rehabilitation stroke beds.

Person Specification:
  • HCPC registered
  • Significant postgraduate dietetic experience in an NHS inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Experience of working with patients requiring oral nutrition support and enteral feeds
  • Experience of supervising students on practice placement
Key Skills and Qualities:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Estimated Salary:

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
