Role Overview

About this opportunity to make a difference in people's lives as a Patient Support Specialist with Practice Plus Group. You will be working in our cutting-edge 111 call centre, handling calls from the public and utilizing the NHS Pathways triage tool to assess patients over the phone.

You will need to be prepared to handle emotional, distressing, or life-threatening scenarios, and arrange for emergency services if necessary. Enhanced pay rates are offered for weekend work, with part-time weekend roles available to cover core shifts and support patients during busy periods.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively in a healthcare environment with empathy and understanding, capturing patient information using computer systems, and directing patients to the most appropriate service using the Pathways System.
