Job Description

This is a permanent position available for an exceptional Head of Modern Foreign Languages at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and leading the MFL department, with a focus on delivering high-quality education to students.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach at Key Stage 3 and 4, and possess a formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e., PGCE). Additionally, they must have the legal right to work within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the MFL department, ensuring that all teachers and support staff are working effectively to deliver high-quality education.
  • To teach MFL subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4, using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
  • To develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes and progress in MFL.
  • To work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education for students.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
