Join Our Team as a SEMH Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Tower Hamlets. As a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEN and SEMH) needs.

About the Role

As a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning and development
  • Improving their communication and social skills
  • Working alongside qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A First-Class Psychology Degree or a degree from a Top 20 University
  • Previous experience and a passion for working with children
  • Aims to become an Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience
