We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our Independent Living team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing bespoke round-the-clock care to autistic and/or neurodivergent young people and adults in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with personal and household tasks, including meal preparation and shopping
- Accompany individuals on outings and holidays, and assist with accessing medical appointments
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high-quality care and support
- Participate in comprehensive induction, training, and mentoring to develop skills and knowledge
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a demanding role
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support
