About the Role

In this critical position, you will be responsible for overseeing all planning and logistics operations across our multisite footprint in Lancashire. Your primary focus will be on reviewing current practices and implementing effective strategies to increase performance.

You will lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, building engagement, capability, and succession planning where needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with other functions to ensure operational alignment and buy-in.

A key aspect of this role is developing key performance indicators to share across the organisation, demonstrating value delivery and improving accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all planning and logistics operations across our multisite footprint
  • Review current practices and implement effective strategies to increase performance
  • Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure operational alignment and buy-in
  • Develop key performance indicators to demonstrate value delivery and improve accountability

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience within a complex, manufacturing-based operation with a large headcount. You will possess excellent knowledge of planning (supply/produciton/demand) and logistics, with the ability to restructure and implement new processes/systems across multisite environments.

An additional requirement is the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, contributing to a senior leadership team.
