Director of Logistics Opportunity

About e-STORAGE:

e-STORAGE is a leading company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of battery energy storage systems for utility-scale applications.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Logistics to lead our global logistics efforts and ensure the seamless delivery of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with our growth objectives, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of energy storage systems globally.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and innovation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Project Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and external customers to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities across global regions.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, ports, 3PL providers, and carriers. Negotiate contracts and manage performance metrics to ensure delivery efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Risk Management: Lead the resolution of logistics challenges, including delays, damage investigations, and insurance claims. Develop contingency plans for potential risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruptions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with a proven track record in both domestic and international operations, preferably in the energy or clean technology sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Supply Chain) is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, with advanced Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Formulas & Functions) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Visio).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams, partners, and cultures.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure the highest standards of operational excellence.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
