We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Transformation Strategist to join our Transformation Unit, located in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Innovation hub team and drive the development of strategic plans for the new organisations.

About the Role

The post holder will be accountable for the strategic and operational development of the Department/Directorate/Sector, with a focus on horizon scanning nationally and internationally. They will ensure the implementation of short to medium term objectives, including the management of key risks and issues.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience at a senior level within an acute hospital setting, as well as experience of a leadership role within a new hospital build programme or major government programme.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the healthcare sector, working collaboratively with local systems and providers to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and manage relevant strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • To implement appropriate systems and processes to enable the delivery of short to medium term objectives.
  • To proactively manage key risks and issues associated with ensuring the effective implementation of strategy plans.

Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare management, public health).
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
