NHS England is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Strategist to lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive communications plan for a major healthcare programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the programme's communications strategy, ensuring coordination across various stakeholder groups, and driving effective engagement with key audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a clear communications plan that aligns with the programme's objectives and strategic context.
  • Lead a high-performing team in delivering exceptional communications and engagement activities.
  • Ensure quality assurance for all communications across diverse stakeholder groups, meeting programme objectives and delivery plans.
  • Manage media enquiries and sensitive stakeholder correspondence.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with communications and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Programme teams to develop new core materials and collateral as needed.
