About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme & Commercial Support Officer to join our team at GKN Aerospace. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the delivery of commercial and programme-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial and programme support to the A330 project team, including preparing quotations, reviewing customer claims, and producing programme reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of programme objectives.
  • Develop and maintain robust document management systems to ensure compliance with programme and commercial requirements.
  • Support the Change Board process and customer/change negotiations, including the analysis, creation, coordination, and delivery of change proposals.
  • Manage the price list for all deliverable items and coordinate internally and externally to ensure price changes are introduced in a controlled way.
  • Prepare and negotiate pricing quotations for out of scope activities and spares items, and minor commercial claims in relation to the contract.
  • Process and support the programme order book to accurately reflect customer Purchase Order requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate confidently to a range of audiences.
  • Proactive and logical approach to problem-solving, with a detail-focussed analytical, organisational, and administrative skillset.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen interest in business fundamentals and a willingness to develop within the role.
  • Awareness of the GKN programme processes and the lifecycle process, with experience using Microsoft Project and knowledge of SAP.
