Job Summary

This full-time role is based in Hillingdon and offers a competitive salary of up to £62,595 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the service to ensure effective practice across teams, safeguarding adults at risk of abuse.
  • Ensure the assessment and meeting of eligible needs through a personalised approach, optimising the use of reablement resources to enhance residents' independence and reduce demand on social care services.
  • Take a proactive approach to prevent vulnerable adults from falling between services, collaborating closely with housing and corporate colleagues, as well as key partners and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement services aligned with local and national priorities for personalisation and self-directed support, ensuring seamless integration of approaches across Adult Social Work.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with community, voluntary sector, government, professional bodies, and other public and private organisations.
  • Provide expert knowledge on current and future adult social care practice issues and legislative context to the Senior Management Team, advising and supporting them in their decision-making processes.
  • Conduct high-level management reviews, produce recommendations, and create action plans as needed to enhance the quality of social work practice within ASW, attending the Serious Case Review/Safeguarding Adult Review Sub-Group.
Requirements
  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England) is required for this post.
