Job Title: Sales Development Representative Team Lead

Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative Team Lead at Varonis plays a critical role in developing and training Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to provide meeting pipeline for Enterprise Sales Representatives. This position requires strong leadership and coaching skills to ensure SDRs understand Varonis' core products and can effectively sell to prospective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coach SDRs on Varonis' sales process and ensure they understand our core products to effectively sell to prospective customers.
  • Direct SDRs on how to work with assigned Sales Representatives and Sales Engineers, as well as Management, to determine a strategic sales approach.
  • Coach SDRs on identifying decision-makers amongst targeted leads to start the sales process.
  • Monitor SDRs' activities to ensure they hit specific metrics critical to success.
  • Provide updates to all territory managers on pipeline development, hiring, etc.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity detail in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).

Requirements

  • Prior leadership experience required.
  • Technology industry experience preferred.
  • Basic skill level of Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding phone skills and ability to handle a high volume of calls per day.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
