Job Title: Primary Care Mental Health Specialist

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community mental health services, you will be responsible for providing mental health triage, assessment, and outcomes-based intervention to meet the needs of service users within the Primary Care Network.

The successful candidate will have comprehensive assessment skills and risk management skills, as well as experience of working in community mental health services. A registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with relevant post-registration experience in mental health will be ideal for this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality mental health care and making a difference in your community, please submit your application.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health triage, assessment, and outcome-based interventions to meet service users' needs.
  • Promote psychosocial wellbeing by identifying and supporting pathways for service users and carers.
  • Support and advise colleagues within the PCN and across local neighbourhood multi-agency teams.
