Mental Health Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Care Manager to join our dynamic team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to patients in our adult mental health services. With a strong background in mental health legislation and evidence-based practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our services.
Job Description
As a Mental Health Care Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
• Leading and managing nursing teams across adult mental health services
• Developing and implementing plans to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning
• Fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development among nursing staff
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing, extensive experience in mental health care, and a proven track record of leadership and management. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
