Job Summary:
NP Aerospace is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to ensure full compliance with all relevant import and export regulations impacting our business. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to support business planning, prepare and process applications, expedite approvals, maintain accurate records, and monitor compliance deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, manage, and improve policies and procedures relating to import/export compliance and ITAR, ensuring business adherence where applicable.
- Provide training to ensure that key personnel are fully aware of their responsibilities in respect of import and export controls, including ITAR.
- Ensure business compliance in accordance with all Compliance laws and regulations.
- Identify and advise the business on any changes to legislation or government policy that may impact on our business.
- Support and guide the Business Development, R&D, and Commercial teams, including but not limited to, preparing accurate and compliant import/export paperwork, customs documents, and maintaining complete records for audit and future reference purposes.
- Liaise and manage nominated freight forwarders to organise all movements required by the business.
- Liaise with internal and external customers/agencies to ensure trade compliance and allow business objectives to be met in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
- Determine the classification of goods, software, and technology to be exported.
