Rheumatology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a key member of our Rheumatology department, you will be responsible for providing specialist out-patient opinion and case management, contributing to the ongoing development of rheumatology services for the local population, and participating in training and educational activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist out-patient opinion and case management
- Contribute to the ongoing development of rheumatology services for the local population
- Participate in training and educational activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols
- MBBS and MRCP, or equivalent
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- Entry on Specialist Register or in receipt of CCT within six months of interview
- Depth and breadth of Rheumatology Medicine following completion of approved STR training programme or equivalent
- Experience in a special interest that will complement those existing in the department
