Rheumatology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of rheumatology services for the local population across the Bay.
- Contribute to the development of rheumatology services
- Participate in training and educational activities
- Contribute to administrative, teaching, continuing medical education, and audit activities
The successful candidate will be required to have appropriate experience in rheumatology and hold or be within 6 months of obtaining certification from the General Medical Council (CCT).
The post is for a full-time contract, but the option to work flexibly exists if it is the candidate's preference.
Working for Our OrganisationWe operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital - as well as a number of community health care premises.
Person Specification- MBBS and MRCP, or equivalent
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- Entry on Specialist Register or in receipt of CCT within six months of interview
