Job Title: Meetings and Events Sales Manager

The Meetings and Events Sales Manager is a key role within the AccorHotel team, responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet hotel budget commitments and respond to local market conditions.
  • Oversee the Event Planning function and related staff to ensure successful hotel events.
  • Ensure products and services meet or exceed guest expectations and build customer loyalty through product and service excellence.
  • Take a proactive sales approach and adapt sales solutions to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Manage online meeting partner websites, ensuring regular updates and accurate information.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and record findings to inform sales strategies.
  • Efficiently manage enquiries, turn-downs, and lost business to create future pipeline and repeat business.
  • Manage daily operations of Event Planning to achieve or exceed budget expectations.
  • Carry out local research to identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with local clients, direct bookers, and agency bookers to ensure a strong base of new and repeat business.
  • Promote, manage, and host regular client FAM trips and show rounds.
  • Be a key contact for the head office MICE sales team, ensuring timely responses to enquiries and RFPs.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met for annual MICE RFP requests.
  • Proactively manage BOB against budgeted targets and identify opportunities to secure new and ad-hoc business.
  • Set, monitor, and review personnel objectives for the team.
  • Supervise billing, payment guarantees, credit policy, and deposits.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hospitality sales role.
  • Accor experience preferred but not mandatory.
Work Arrangements:
  • No remote work.
  • Contract employment.
