About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work one-on-one with a student with autism, providing personalized support to help them unlock their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to a student with autism, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies tailored to the student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to monitor progress and adapt support as needed.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment that promotes the student's social and emotional development.

  • Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs.
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
