Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, including adapting materials and resources to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Support students with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure that students receive the support they need.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students with special educational needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy.
