We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Bridge Engineer to join our team at Ringway Jacobs. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the analysis and design of bridge and retaining wall structures in reinforced concrete and steel.

### Key Responsibilities

* Prepare, design, plan, and programme highway structures works and services
* Provide clear and effective project leadership
* Assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes or services
* Mentor junior staff in the delivery of structural design and development of highway structures schemes
* Assist in budgetary control and ensure that financial management is undertaken throughout areas of responsibility

### Requirements

* Chartered or working towards Chartership with the ICE or MIStructE
* Self-motivated individual with good communication skills and a background in highway bridge engineering
* Educational base, Civil Engineering Degree/Masters or equivalent high-level qualification
* Recent experience of undertaking structure analysis and calculations in RC and leading and mentoring junior engineers in the delivery of highway structures projects
