A challenging opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Highway Structures Design Engineer to join our team at Essex Highways. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing, designing, planning, and programming highway structures works and services.

You will provide clear and effective project leadership, assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes or services, and mentor junior staff in the delivery of structural design and development of highway structures schemes.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered or working towards Chartership with the ICE or MIStructE, with a background in highway bridge engineering and excellent communication skills.
