Academics is a leading provider of education services in the South Birmingham area, and we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist, this role will provide you with invaluable experience in supporting children with complex needs and associated behaviours.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with special needs and a proven track record of delivering excellent results in a classroom setting. You will be responsible for assisting the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students, behaviour and pastoral support, and building effective relationships with students and staff.

**Responsibilities:**

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with complex needs
  • Supporting the Behaviour and Pastoral Care Team
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

**What We Offer:**

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
