Global Safety Strategist

As a Global Safety Strategist at Novartis, you will be responsible for designing and developing safety surveillance strategies for products and approvals. You will oversee the company's drug surveillance program, including follow-up, risk assessment, and relatedness to product adverse reaction reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for safety in clinical trials and post-marketing programs. You will participate in the resolution of legal liability and comply with governmental regulations. You will provide trending and safety signal detection and risk management assessment for the products' life cycle. You will also provide safety support to clinical development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop safety surveillance strategies for products and approvals
  • Oversee the company's drug surveillance program
  • Responsible for safety in clinical trials and post-marketing programs
  • Participate in the resolution of legal liability and comply with governmental regulations
  • Provide trending and safety signal detection and risk management assessment for the products' life cycle

Requirements:
  • Medical Degree required
  • Fluent English (both spoken and written) is mandatory
  • Additional languages are an advantage
