Job Details

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, and managing our species, sites, and habitats data. With your extensive experience in using and managing ecological and geospatial data, you will support the day-to-day running of our data search and licensing service, often dealing with more complex queries and analysis.

You will work closely with the Biodiversity Data Assistant, Biodiversity Data Officer, and Data Managers to ensure high levels of data quality and consistency throughout the data lifecycle. Your skills and experience will be used to implement improvements to our data platform and services, and you will play a key role in extending the types and volumes of data we can hold and use.
