Job Overview
A Geospatial Data Specialist role at Build People's Land Surveyor Survey & Geospatial Company involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of geospatial data to support land surveying projects. Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £40k - £45k per annum, depending on relevant experience. The company offers a range of benefits, including a fully expensed company vehicle, hybrid/remote working options, and access to industry-specific training programs such as NVQ, CSCS, NRSWA, First Aid, and Professional Accreditation support (MRICS and CICES). Responsibilities
This role will involve collecting and analyzing geospatial data from various sources, including GPS devices, aerial imagery, and LiDAR technology. The successful candidate will work closely with our surveying team to ensure accurate data capture and interpretation. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting site surveys and data collection using GPS and other geospatial technologies
- Processing and analyzing large datasets to produce accurate maps and reports
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality surveying projects
- Maintaining and updating geospatial databases and systems

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in geospatial data collection and analysis. Relevant qualifications and skills include:
- Strong understanding of geospatial principles and techniques
- Experience with GPS, GIS, and other geospatial software and hardware
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and reporting skills
