About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Intec Select. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to determine their technology requirements and deliver projects to a defined scope, quality, cost, and timescale.
  • Clarify client system specifications, understand working practices, and the nature of the customers' business.
  • Work at customer sites, liaising with staff at all levels within their organisation, and develop strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Develop new technologies and implement them, presenting solutions in clear and consistent written or oral reports.
  • Design, test, install, and monitor systems during the Project phase, and prepare documentation and present progress reports to customers.
Requirements
  • Strong capabilities in M365 and Azure are a must-have.
  • Recent experience of Intune/Autopilot is a must-have.
  • Basic knowledge of Power Automate (Power Apps, Power BI) is a must-have.
  • Virtualisation (Microsoft Hyper-V / VMware) / Failover Clustering is a must-have.
  • Exchange Server / Office 365 and associated e-mail protocols is a must-have.
  • RDS/Terminal Server.
  • Active Directory, DFS, Security, GPO.
  • PowerShell.
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
  • Storage including SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
  • Firewall configuration / troubleshooting (Checkpoint/ WatchGuard / PFSense).
  • Layer 3 switch configuration (HP Procure / Dell).
  • Experience of Security would be an advantage (CISSP/CISM or equivalent).
