About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Big Red Recruitment. As a key member of our cloud team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our large technology refresh programme across our entire estate with a Microsoft first strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure and Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Work on key projects involving Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Cloud migrations, Virtualisation, Security hardening, and more.
  • Collaborate with our small cloud team to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
  • Provide continued training and professional development to build and progress your career in an organisation that promotes from within.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and practical experience of cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Cloud cost control and optimisation.
  • Experience of supporting Microsoft Azure and Office 365 systems.
  • Experience of implementing Cloud security controls.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud environments, including Azure, Office Admin, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Security and Compliance, and Exchange Online.
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation using VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Proven practical technical ability within key areas including Office365, Azure & Security platforms.
