Corporate Banking Associate

**Corporate Banking Role Overview**
As an Associate in our Corporate Banking team at Bank of China, you will play a key role in marketing, onboarding, and managing client relationships, providing loan business and promoting ancillary services in line with our business strategy and risk appetite.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Participate in the Bank's Corporate Banking business related to UK corporate clients, aligning with our business strategy and risk and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-quality products and services to clients.
- Prepare business proposals, credit analyses, and financial models as required, and follow up on the business approval process, including approval from Head Office if necessary.
- Collaborate with in-house and/or external lawyers to complete facility documentation, ensuring agreements are acceptable and protect the Bank's interests.
- Cross-sell Corporate Banking products, including loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance, and RMB business.
- Perform general account maintenance duties with clients.
- Collaborate with members of other departments to produce statistics, initial analysis, reviewing credit lines, and various tasks associated with Corporate Banking business.
- Liaise with Head Office and domestic network to support the development of the business for Bank of China London and BOC Group's existing and target clients.
- Conduct and fulfill KYC and KYB compliance requirements, and any other legal and compliance requirements per internal and regulator policies.
**Requirements:**
- Relevant experience in managing Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) portfolio.
- Good understanding of general and structured corporate financing activities and general and structured corporate banking products and services.
- Ability to navigate loan agreements and related financial documents.
- Fluency in Mandarin is desirable.
