Software Development Team Leader, Platform Innovator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Leader to join our Site Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of front and backend developers in the delivery of high-quality software applications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in driving the provision of a capable, reactive, and motivated team
* Enforce governance of quality, rules, standards, and processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements
* Ensure the development process is conducted in a timely fashion
* Plan and track works actively, as prioritized by the product, project, and development management
* Gain a good understanding of the technical structure, domain, and architecture of the systems that the team is responsible for
* Identify and mitigate risk
* Remove blockers to delivery
* Work through dependencies
* Mentor members of the team and ensure distribution of knowledge
* Input developer appraisals and other performance feedback
Requirements:
* Commercial experience with leading development teams in the delivery of high-quality software applications in client or service-side application development
* Passionate about working with technology and software development processes and practices
* Experience with Typescript, Golang, or other server-side technologies
* Adaptability, with the ability to lead a team to ensure the best outcome for the business
* Experience with mobile technologies
* Experience with performance testing
* Knowledge of service-oriented architecture
* Exposure to multiple software development methodologies
* Experience with or exposure to Cloud technologies such as GCP, GKE, or SAAS
* Exposure to generative artificial intelligence and large language models
