Accountant Job Description

Our global commercial client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a 7-month fixed-term contract. The role will involve recording revenue in compliance with IFRS requirements, reviewing customer purchase orders, and preparing monthly journal entries for revenue and transfer costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze customer purchase orders, Statements of Work, Master Purchasing Agreements, and Terms & Conditions
  • Document current processes and controls, and prepare monthly journal entries for revenue and transfer costs
  • Perform account reconciliations, and upload financial data to the corporate consolidation system
  • Manage reporting using advanced Excel skills, such as pivots and v-lookups
  • Maintain revenue schedules, conduct purchase price variance analysis, and provision analysis
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or Part-Qualified Accountant with strong project management experience
  • Experience of revenue accounting and IFRS knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills and good communication skills
