We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Senior Clinical Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality psychological services to children, young people, and their families.
As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing complex assessments and psychological input to children, young people, and their families. You will bring advanced formulation skills and consultation to your team, alongside wider service development contributions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality complex assessments and psychological input to children, young people, and their families.
- Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions to support children, young people, and their families.
- Providing clinical supervision to Assistant and Trainee Clinical Psychologists, as well as Band 7 colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines.
- Contributing to team discussions and complex case consultations, bringing enhanced formulation skills and knowledge to support the team processes, reflections, and formulation.
- Leading on service development and quality improvement initiatives, using clinical leadership, audit, and research skills.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about working with children, young people, and families with complex needs. You will have a good understanding of safeguarding across the lifespan and be committed to service user participation and collaborative working with children, young people, parents, carers, and families.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Active registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- Post-qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post-qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
