We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality complex assessments and psychological input to children, young people, and their families who access our services.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake specialist psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with a wide variety of mental health problems and/or neurodiversity and/or learning disability.
- Provide clinical supervision to Assistant and Trainee Clinical Psychologists as well as Band 7 colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines where appropriate.
- Take a lead in areas of service development to support a culture of Quality improvement.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies as required and be able to assess and respond to clinical and safeguarding risks as needed.
- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Post qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
- Experience of undertaking leadership roles within clinical psychology services in the NHS, and in contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and clinical policies in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency contexts.
