Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodiversity Pathway in North Devon. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality complex assessments and psychological input to children, young people, and their families who access our support.
The Neurodiversity Pathway is a developing integrated pathway within Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD). The Integrated Neurodiversity Team provides specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people and their families where the presenting need relates to neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Tics and Tourette Syndrome.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake specialist psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with a wide variety of mental health problems and/or neurodiversity and/or learning disability.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff members.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and clinical policies in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency contexts.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and mental health practitioners.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:
- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Post-qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post-qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
- Experience of working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
