Interim Internal Communications Specialist

Job Overview:
Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join our Marketing Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the internal comms and rewards team in the rollout of a new rewards program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a central framework for effective, creative, and engaging communications to maximize engagement and drive co-creation across the business.
- Lead and advise on strategic and tactical communications and engagement, including landing effective change and engagement through storytelling, content creation, and strategic communications planning.
- Support the company's 10-year strategy with direct internal communications planning and activity across multiple levels of stakeholders and channels.
- Provide specific support for people development and change programs, including reward, benefits, recognition, and annual BAU reward activity.
- Work with our social media agency to drive paid social and media campaigns, generate engaging content, and provide reports with recommendations.
- Liaise with graphic designers and other departments to create content and develop a digital marketing strategy to enhance SEO.
- Monitor competitor activity online and identify areas to promote the business through PR, advertising, and marketing.
- Assist in developing an effective, measurable, and engaging communications plan for colleague-focused activity.
Requirements:
- A background in internal communications with experience in managing and developing internal communications channels, processes, and activities in the reward and benefits area.
- Experience working in a large regulated corporate environment.
- Ability to create content that colleagues want to engage with and utilize this content to build relationships, develop awareness, and create advocacy.
- Proactive, creative, and driven communications professional with the ability to build relationships and positively influence at all levels within the business.
- Skilled storyteller to deliver complex business messages in a compelling and creative way.
