Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Interim Purchase Ledger Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the transactional finance department, line managing and supporting the development of a small team, and overseeing financial transactions to ensure they are accurately recorded.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the transactional finance department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Line manage and support the development of a small team, providing guidance and advice as needed.
- Oversee financial transactions, ensuring they are accurately recorded and compliant with financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify areas for financial improvement and implement strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Interim Purchase Ledger Manager who has:
- Proven experience in a similar role, managing or supervising accounts payable, receivable, and/or payroll.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to start an assignment ASAP and commit to at least a 4-month period.
- Proficiency in financial software and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
We offer a competitive day rate of between £150 and £170, a full-time 37.5-hour working week, holiday pay, flexible and hybrid working, and a 4-month contract with the opportunity for extension.
