About the Role
The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Autism Support Specialist to join our team. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting clinicians in organizing groups, administrating these groups, and collecting feedback from families attending groups.
Main Responsibilities
- Support clinicians in organizing groups and administering these groups.
- Collect feedback from families attending groups.
- Assist in gathering information to support referrals and accurately inputting this data onto electronic patient records.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support and spending therapeutic time with an allocated group of neurodivergent children, young people, and families.
- Undertake a wide and varied range of clinical, supportive, and administrative tasks as directed by clinical staff or team leads.

Requirements
- Experience of working with children and young people that are vulnerable or neurodivergent children and young people.

Salary
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
