About the Role

Transport for Wales is seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to support the promotion and execution of robust contract management processes and procedures across the organization.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day contract management administration, inputting and maintaining data accuracy into various systems, and monitoring spend against budgets and contracted values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing contract management support to contract owners and contributing to the ongoing evaluation of contract performance.
  • Performing regular analysis of contract management data and identifying exceptions that pose commercial and financial risk.
  • Responding to contract queries from contract owners and providing advice on contract management activities.
  • Drafting contract changes for review by the Contract Manager.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing or working with contracts in a commercial, procurement, or supply chain environment.

They will also have effective communication skills, able to present and explain options to others, and confidently respond to queries or challenges.

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential, the ability to speak/write Welsh would be a great asset to the role.
