About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Transport for Wales. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering transport-related projects that improve transport services in line with Welsh Government transport policy and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of transport-related projects by applying robust project lifecycle methodologies, undertaking early lifecycle project delivery, and implementing project plans.
  • Provide a professional and effective project management service, including project governance, reporting, and technical working groups.
  • Manage project budgets and lead project teams by collaborating with internal colleagues and external contractors.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2.
  • Experience of early-stage project delivery and working on transport sector-related projects.

Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh is not essential for this role, but Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees.
